A Truth About Revival

Posted by Iron Sharp on

Many are praying for revival, yet when the Lord answers the prayer and drops the plumb line we try and push it aside. Beloved this is revival, when Jesus begins to confront the things within our lives not centered upon Him and His Word. He’s coming in His mercy and love to get us aligned individually, then our families, and then the assembly!

If fathers and mothers, both physically and spiritually will not yield to this, then the revival will not spread to their children, physically and spiritually!

“And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.” Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived.” (1 Kings‬ ‭17‬:‭21‬-‭22‬)

“My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.” (Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭25‬)

“Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.” (Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭37‬)

“Great are Your tender mercies, O Lord; Revive me according to Your judgments.” (Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭156‬)

“For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” (Isaiah‬ ‭57‬:‭15‬)

“Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.” (Hosea‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬-‭2‬)

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” (Hosea‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬)

Beloved, discern this move of the Holy Spirit and yield to it, let His fire purify you and then let that fire spread to others He’s given you to influence!!!

“This is how the Lord responds: “If you return to me, I will restore you so you can continue to serve me. If you speak good words rather than worthless ones, you will be my spokesman. You must influence them; do not let them influence you!” (Jeremiah‬ ‭15:19)
