Who Is Jesus???
He is the Lord, who has measured the waters of this earth in the hollow of His hand; measured out the heavens with a span; comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure; weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance (Isaiah 40:12). To Him, all the people of the earth are nothing compared to Him; He does according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the people of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?” (Daniel 4:35)…
He is the Lord of hosts, God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, He alone is God and is above all, over all, and in control of all, the creator of the heavens and the earth, God of all the kingdoms of this earth (Isaiah 37:16). He can direct the movement of the stars, binding the cluster of Pleiades, or loosening the bands of Orion He can set the dominion of His ordinances in the earth. He can shout to the clouds and make it rain, He can send forth lightning, number the clouds, and tilt the water jars of heaven (Job 38). He is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), He is a warrior, Yahweh is His name (Exodus 15:3), He is our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, He is the God of all the earth (Isaiah 54:5), and His throne is forever and ever (Hebrews 1:8)…
He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty (Revelation 1:8), He created all things through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16), He upholds all things by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3), He is the First and the Last (Revelation 1:17), it is He who lives, and was dead, and behold is alive forevermore, He has the keys of Hades and of Death (Revelation 1:18)…
The Lord is a Rock, a Fortress, the Deliverer, Strength, a Shield, and the Horn of Salvation (Psalm 18:2), He is the Head of every man (1 Corinthians 11:3), He is the Head of all Principality and Power (Colossians 2:10), the Lord of lords and King of kings (Revelation 17:14), the Lord of both the dead and the living (Romans 14:9), He is Lord of all (Acts 10:36), He is The Prince of princes (Daniel 8:25), He is the faithful witness, firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth (Revelation 1:5), He is the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:22-23), The Righteous Judge (2 Timothy 4:8), The King of saints (Revelation 15:3), The King over all the Earth, the Lord is one, and His name one (Zechariah 14:9), The King of Glory (Psalm 24:10), He is Crowned with many Crowns (Revelation 19:12), The Lord sits as King forever (Psalm 29:10)…
He has been the dwelling place in all generations, even before the mountains were brought forth, or before He formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, He is God (Psalms 90:1-2). He is the one who sits in heaven and laughs at the kings of the earth and the rulers who take counsel against Him and His Anointed (Psalm 2:2-4), He is the Potter, and His people are the clay (Isaiah 64:8), He is the Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13), He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6), and the Glory among the nations (Ezekiel 39:21)…
He is highly exalted, has the Name above all names, the Name at which every knee should bow, and that every tongue should confess is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11), to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him, and His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed (Daniel 7:14)…
He is the One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair are white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet are like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He has in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance is like the sun shining in its strength (Revelation 1:13-16), He is the only one worthy to take the scroll, to open its seals; For He was slain, and has redeemed us by His blood; Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests unto Him; And we shall reign on the earth (Revelation 5:9-10)…
