The Breastplate of Righteousness

Ephesians 6:14 (TPT)
“...Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.”

Our righteousness in Christ isn’t only viable as a weapon of defense, but should also be used as a mighty offensive weapon to recover lost territory from the enemy! The more you armor up with the breastplate and carry yourself daily fully aware of your righteousness in Christ, the brighter your light shines, LEDs in fact!

The word “devil” is the Greek word “diabalos” and shows one that strikes over and over and over until he is able to break into the mind with evil and false lies... because the battlefield is in the mind the enemy creeps around looking for Christians who do not understand their righteousness in Christ Jesus. They are easy targets and he is able to affect their thoughts, and emotions, and in fact beat them down.

He will use lies such as “who do you think you are”, “you’ve done too much to be forgiven”, “there’s no way God will use you”, “you’re too simple minded to understand”, YACKITY YACKITY YACK...

This is why you have to keep that breastplate on, locked in place, buffed up and shining BRIGHT! Otherwise the devil will get you into condemnation, and many are and don’t even realize it. So many mask guilt, shame, and sorrow... they also tend to speak of those who walk in divine boldness, knowing who they are in Christ as arrogant, cocky, etc. Don’t let the enemy get one over on you, DO NOT ALLOW IT!

Proverbs 28:1 says “The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion. Acts 4:31 also says, “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. So if you are lacking boldness ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh with boldness!

Friend, stand up and walk in the confidence of what Jesus has done for you and the authority He’s given you! Stand tall, head high in the strength and boldness you have in Him, by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Mental toughness is what you must have in order to stand strong in spiritual warfare! It will be the deciding factor on if you get a W or take a L. So strap that breastplate on, keep marching soldier, and don’t you dare let the forces of darkness con you out of your benefits of being in right standing with the Almighty God!!!
