The Two Seeds

Posted by Iron Sharp on

Many believe there are only nine Fruits of the Spirit, there are actually twelve!

Nine are found here in Galatians 5:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

Two more in Ephesians 5:

“(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

The last one is found in Hebrews 13:

“Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭15‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

The Twelve Fruits:
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control, Righteousness, Truth, and Praise!

How many fruits are found on the two trees (yes plural as there is one on each side of the river) in Revelation?

“In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭2‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

The seed bears the tree that bears the fruit!

Beloved, there are only two kinds of seeds!

“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

Jesus spoke of two kinds of trees!

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭15‬-‭20‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

Which seed is her Seed?

“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

The dichotomy is clear: Christ is life and love. The antiChrist is death and hatred. One cannot know, embrace, and exhibit true love until one has the correct seed. God created a law stating that every seed will produce according to its kind (Genesis 1:11-12), which applies to both the physical and spiritual realms. The seed must produce that which it is intended to produce.

Seed is imparted through an intimate, love-making process. The true love of God is an impregnation of His Word. Just as the Holy Spirit hovered over Mary and impregnated her with Jesus, the Holy Spirit hovers over us to impregnate us with His Seed, which is the living Word. From that seed comes the tree that produces fruit, which is also indicative of offspring.

What seed are you impregnated with???

There is a revelation found within the healing of the blind man in Mark 8. Scripture says, “Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭22‬-‭26‬ (NKJV)

I’ve heard this taught in the instance someone’s healing may not manifest initially to pray again. While there is a truth there, I believe what’s really to be seen is that Jesus was opening his spiritual eyes even before clarity came to his natural eyes. Remember above Jesus only taught of two trees and this man saw people as trees!
