MRE- Romans 8:3

Romans 8:3 (AMP)
“For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man's nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son],”

Friends this verse is good news! Jesus came and did what no human could ever do, He fulfilled the Law of Moses!

Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.”

And Romans 3:31 says, “Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.”

It is through our faith in Jesus and His finished works on the Cross that we are justified (saved from the penalty of sin), by the power of the Holy Spirit we are being sanctified (being saved from the power of sin), and finally one day either at the first resurrection, or those who are here at Jesus’ Second Coming we will be glorified (saved from the presence of sin).

Remember from previous MRE’s this word faith isn’t some superficial “I believe”, because scripture is clear in James 2:19 says, “You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.” True faith is complete trust and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Friends, Jesus gave His ALL, and so we must give Him our ALL!!!
