Four Words for the Coming Year(s)

There are four words the Lord is speaking for the coming year(s)

Revelation—> Fascination—> Impartation—> Transformation

The passage I hear the Holy Spirit bringing to His people is found in Matthew 16

“He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

This is a question EVERY child of God must ask themselves, and this is not a question to only be asked once. Who is Jesus??? We all must have a life of continual revelation of the Lord Jesus, not just trying to ride the waves of others revelations. Praise the Lord for what He has shown others and asks them to share, but that should simply provoke hunger in others to go after Jesus more in their own life!

I believe the Lord is asking two questions currently:

  • Have you truly had a revelation of Jesus? Not from flesh and blood, but from the Father by way of the Spirit! If not you must seek Him with all diligence!
  • If you haven’t had any fresh revelation go back to what He last revealed to you and see what you did not do with it. Everything Jesus reveals to us about Himself is to bring forth an act of obedience in us to put it into place. If we don’t act on the last thing, He sure isn’t going to keep giving more, as it becomes wasted.

A life of revelation of Jesus by the Holy Spirit is the only way to be built upon the firm foundation. Without that when the rain, flood and winds come the fall is certain!

“Therefore whoever HEARS these sayings of Mine, and DOES them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it DID NOT FALL, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who HEARS these sayings of Mine, and DOES NOT DO THEM, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And GREAT WAS ITS FALL” Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭(NKJV)

“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?” Jeremiah‬ ‭12‬:‭5‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

Friends go after Jesus with all you have! Buy your oil! You read that right, oil isn’t free, and Jesus tells us to buy from Him!

“I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.” Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

It is the eye salve that brings clarity in our vision to see that which is revealed!!! Without revelation of Jesus you’ll never be fascinated, and boredom will continue to mark your life, and reliance upon others in hopes you can share their oil, and it doesn’t work that way!

And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭8‬-‭12‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬)

Seek the Lord Jesus and let Him fascinate you with His goodness!!!
