As I was sitting before the scripture early this morning the Holy Spirit had me reading through Ezekiel 43-48. As He led me through the passage below He slammed on the brakes and began to give me fresh vision to see something wonderful.
“You shall daily make a burnt offering to the Lord of a lamb of the first year without blemish; you shall prepare it every morning. And you shall prepare a grain offering with it every morning, a sixth of an ephah, and a third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour. This grain offering is a perpetual ordinance, to be made regularly to the Lord.
Thus they shall prepare the lamb, the grain offering, and the oil, as a regular burnt offering every morning.” (Ezekiel 46:13-15)
Here we see the call to daily communion every morning! He repeats it three times, so it’s calling our attention to the importance!
However we see another Theophany!
Lamb- Son
Grain- Father
Oil- Spirit
How are they One?
What is bread? Grain and oil! Who is Jesus (John 6:35) and who is in Jesus? The Father and the Holy Spirit!
This is a picture going all the way back to creation. When the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit created mankind in their image and likeness. The Lord God would then come to walk with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day (morning)!
The Lord is the same today! He is coming to walk with you every morning! Will you show up for the walk of communion (common union)? Or will you as Adam and Eve did hide from the Lord God because of condemnation…
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
The Lord is calling His people back to intimacy in the secret place! Will we answer the call???
