Word Received 3/15/24

As I was sitting with the Lord this morning He is continuing to highlight spiritual hunger! This is connected with the call to His people to return to the secret place!

“And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” (Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬-‭3‬) ‭

Spiritual starvation is what brings temptation and is an open door to the enemy!‬‬

“But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’" (Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭4)

Scripture tells us that by the word abiding in us the enemy cannot touch us! This is huge and rarely shared, and sadly today a spotlight seems to be more on the enemy and all he is doing than how to remain in victory…

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. (John‬ ‭8‬:‭31)‬

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal and let you see the truth in the following!

“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” (1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬-‭7‬, ‭9‬) ‭

“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. (1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬

Did you catch it? Keep yourself full of the Bread of Life! Pray that spiritual hunger mark your life continually! The more you choose to eat, the hungrier you will be!

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.” (Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬) ‭

Righteousness is not just a position, if it was we wouldn’t be encouraged to hunger for it! So what does it mean?‬‬‬‬

Righteousness is the Greek word dikaioma, which comes from the word dikaios, meaning observing divine laws, keeping the commands of God, having right understanding. In fact, a Hebrew equivalent of the word dikaioma is mitzvah, which is the word for commandment, the same word used for the 613 mitzvahs in the Torah. So the secrets of the Kingdom, are connected with a people who belong to a priestly office and the Bride of Christ; they are righteous, they have and continually pursue the right understanding of God’s Word!

A secondary meaning is integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking, feeling, and acting. Also known as the renewal of the mind (Rom. 12:1-2)

Beloved, stay hungry!!!
